In her role as the Bachelorette, Lindsay wanted to challenge these perceptions.
She made it to the top three and was given the lead role for “The Bachelorette.”
She ultimately wanted people to know there are successful Black women who can find the true love they desire.
“This was a beautiful opportunity to express myself to this audience in that way,” she said.
