However, fans noticed one specific pop culture icon was missing from the segment.
When it came time for the 2022 Oscars In Memoriam segment, fans were confident Saget would be remembered.
However, he was missing from the tribute (via theNew York Post).
Another fanwrote, “Cancel the #Oscars for not mentioning Bob Saget in the Memoriam.”
It’s unclear if the Saget snub was intentional or not.
Still, Saget wasn’t alone.
We can only hope that the masses are remembering them since the Oscars didn’t.
