Marriage isn’t for everyone, and that seems to be the case for Sheryl Crow.
A couple of years later, Armstrong popped the question during a vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho.
But that engagement wouldn’t last long, as five months later the couple announced that they were separating.
The reason for their breakup was actually down to Armstrong not wanting children, she said.
“It’s about what he wants and it’s about what I want.
And where the two don’t meet, there’s definitely a, you know, fissure.”
“There are definitely reasons as to why I’m not married,” she explained.
It would seem that being on the same page with having children was also an issue.
But Crow soon remedied that by adopting her two sons, Wyatt and Levi (via theDaily Mail).
“I just never didn’t think I would have kids.
“It was much more about the wonder of getting to raise a person.”
She came to realize that being married wasn’t what she wanted it was raising kids.
“Families look like all different things,” she concluded.
