Movement, whichwas organized by Tarana Burke, exists to help people heal after facing sexual assault and harassment.
Currently, the #metoo hashtag onInstagramhas over 3 million posts and counting.
Unfortunately, the movement wasn’t always around to help victims.
Many people have had to deal with sexual harassment and abuse alone.
That very much includes celebrities in Hollywood.
While she did not say who harassed her, she shared upsetting details about the encounter.
“He called me into a room and pulled down his pants,” she said.
She added that he made a sexual remark and did so in front of an audience.
It didn’t end there, either.
“I should have left.
It wasn’t worth it.
Now I would never do that.”
Thankfully, the #MeToo Movement is helping to raise awareness about instances like this.
