The CW scored a big hit with the teen drama “Riverdale.”
The show is based on the Archie Comics characters Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead.
The cast also includes Madelaine Petsch, Casey Cott, Vanessa Morgan, Ashleigh Murray, and Charles Melton.
The late Luke Perry also portrayed Fred Andrews before his untimely death in 2019 (viaPeople Magazine).
However, the fate of the show has officially been decided as the series prepares for its seventh season.
“I think they, too, felt that seven years is the right amount,” he added.
“As a fan myself, I do want to do what is right for the show.”
The news that “Riverdale” will be coming to a conclusion isn’t exactly shocking to many fans.
“Riverdale” will be sorely missed by viewers who have been tuning in week after week for years.
However, all good things must come to an end.
Thankfully, the series will get the proper send-off by The CW.
