The late ’80s were a magical time for American sitcoms.
But Fox was yet to get their own hit show off the ground.
But it wasn’t until about three seasons in that the sitcom really started to gain popularity.

The show evenfeatured a cameo appearance from another sitcom legend Matt LeBlanc of “Friends” fame.
It was down to Sagal to style Peggy’s bouffant for the show’s first three years.
“And then all of a sudden, they started dishing out money,” Sagal continued.

“Wigs are not cheap.”
“She’s really in drag.
“And I didn’t really look like that.

So I could go about my normal life.”
“There were so many people there.
“And it really took off.”
“We had great chemistry together.
