The 2022 Academy Awards was a big night forAmy Schumer.
“Wanda, Regina are hilarious, and we’re having a blast preparing.
I’ll burn every bridge.”
“Still triggered and traumatized.
I love my friend @chrisrock and believe he handled it like a pro.
“I’m still in shock and stunned and sad,” she ended her note.
“Im [sic] proud of myself and my cohosts.
Waiting for this sickening feeling to go away from what we all witnessed.”
And while Schumer clearly values Rock’s talent, the feeling of admiration is mutual.
“She’s really, really, ridiculously honest, and she’s fearless,” he has said.
“She’s also as funny as any person walking the earth.”
Schumer isn’t the only Oscars host to speak up about the incident.
I physically felt ill and I’m still a little traumatized by it.”
